THE RITAS — B2B PODCAST RECOGNITION

Recognizing B2B Podcasts Worth Listening To.

Not every great podcast is the biggest podcast.

The Ritas recognize B2B podcasts that create useful conversations, serve a clearly defined audience, and give listeners a reason to keep coming back.

Recognition is based on structured editorial evaluation—not downloads, rankings, or popularity alone.

The Rita Awards: Recognizing Excellence in B2B Podcasting

What Are The Ritas?

The Ritas are an independent recognition program for B2B podcasts and the people who create them.

Podcasts are considered using The Authority Podcast Formula™, an evaluation framework designed to look beyond production quality and audience size to examine what actually makes a business podcast valuable.

The goal is simple: identify and recognize podcasts that are doing something genuinely worth paying attention to.

What We Look For

Great B2B Podcasts Do More Than Produce Episodes

The evaluation considers a widerange of factors such as:

  • Clarity of audience and purpose
  • Quality of the conversations
  • Strength and relevance of guests
  • Usefulness of the ideas shared
  • Distinctiveness of the show
  • Consistency of the listener experience
  • The value the podcast creates beyond the episode itself

How Podcasts Are Evaluated

Recognition Is Based on Evidence, Not Popularity

The Ritas combine several sources of evidence, including information from the host, review of the podcast itself, conversations with the host, and recommendations from listeners and other members of the B2B podcast community.

Recommendations help identify podcasts worth considering.

They do not determine the winner.

Final recognition is based on structured editorial review.

That distinction is important. It immediately makes The Ritas feel more serious than a voting contest.

Recommend a Podcast

Help Us Find B2B Podcasts Worth Recognizing

The Ritas are being developed alongside the B2B Podcasting Study, research into how business podcasts create valuable conversations, build authority, develop relationships, and contribute to business development.

As part of the study, you can recommend a B2B podcast or episode you believe deserves recognition — and tell us specifically what makes it valuable, distinctive, useful, or memorable.

Recommendations help us discover and evaluate podcasts for B2B Podcast Review and The Ritas.

They are not votes. Final recognition is based on editorial evaluation using The Authority Podcast Formula™.

For Podcast Hosts

Want Your Podcast Considered?

If you host a B2B podcast, you can also submit your show for consideration.

You’ll be asked to tell us about your audience, the conversations you are trying to create, what makes the show distinctive, and what you believe listeners get from it.

The Bigger Idea

Building a Better Picture of What Makes B2B Podcasting Valuable

The Ritas are part of a broader B2B podcasting study exploring questions such as:

  • Who should hosts interview?
  • What makes someone a valuable guest?
  • What makes an interview memorable?
  • Why do listeners recommend one podcast and ignore another?
  • How can a podcast create authority, relationships, and lasting business value?

Insights from the research will also contribute to B2B Podcast Review and future research into the state of B2B podcasting.
