Get the Free Advance Copy

Read The Authority Gap Early Reader Edition before launch and join a private early reader discussion about why consulting firms lose deals before the first sales conversation.

Ahead of the July 28 launch, I’m inviting a small group of early readers to receive a free advance PDF copy of an Early Reader Edition of the book, a short reading guide, and an invitation to the Early Reader Roundtable.

You’ll receive:

→ A free advance PDF copy of The Authority Gap (Early Reader Edition)
→ A short reading guide to focus on the key ideas
→ An invitation to the private Early Reader Roundtable
→ Launch week updates and selected bonus material
→ An optional review reminder after launch

Reviews are appreciated, but never required.

If you choose to leave a review on Amazon, LinkedIn, Goodreads, or elsewhere after reading the book, it should reflect your honest opinion.

Early reader access is open until launch week. Roundtable invitations will be sent to registered early readers first.

Live Reader Discussion Series

The Authority Gap Early Reader Roundtable

The Early Reader Roundtable is a private live discussion series for selected early readers of The Authority Gap.

This turns the book into a real conversation.

Not a webinar.

Not a pitch.

A focused discussion about how buyers actually evaluate consulting firms before they ever reach out.

Each session explores one core question.

→ Why do strong consulting firms still get overlooked?
→ What makes authority easier for buyers to recognize?
→ Why do buyers hesitate even when they understand the value?
→ What makes a firm easier to recommend internally?
→ How do case studies, articles, and visible proof change buyer confidence?

The roundtable will also draw from the six case studies featured in the book and the bridge campaign leading up to launch.

Some discussions may be recorded and repurposed into short video clips, YouTube content, and launch materials. If your comments, name, image, or video are ever used publicly, permission will be requested first.

Featured Case Study Guests

Pending availability, select case study participants may join live roundtable sessions to share the real-world context behind the ideas featured in The Authority Gap.

"Derek took one expert interview and turned it into a complete authority campaign — articles, visuals, newsletter assets, and a repeatable system. Seeing that ecosystem come together was genuinely impressive."

The process is simple. You get the book, receive a short guide, and decide how involved you want to be.

Step 1 — Get early access to the book

You’ll receive the advance reader version of The Authority Gap before the official launch.

Step 2 — Focus on the ideas that matter most

The reader guide will help you focus on the frameworks, case studies, and buyer decision patterns inside the book.

Step 3 — Join the live reader discussion

You’ll receive invitations to private Early Reader Roundtable sessions focused on the book’s central ideas. You can attend one session, several sessions, or simply read the book on your own.

Step 4 — Receive launch-week updates

You’ll receive launch-week updates, bonus materials, and optional ways to help share the book with the right readers.

Step 5 — Leave an honest review, if you choose

Reviews are appreciated, but never required. If you find the book useful, an honest review can help other consulting firm leaders discover it.

Who Should Join

Who This Is For

This early reader group is especially relevant if you sell expertise and want to understand why some firms are easier to trust, recommend, and choose.

→ Consulting firm founders
→ Partners and principals in professional services firms
→ Fractional executives, advisors, and specialist consultants
→ B2B experts trying to become more visible and trusted
→ Marketers helping experts turn credibility into demand
→ Authority Signals readers who want the full book before launch

If you sell expertise, the book will feel familiar — especially if you’ve ever wondered why buyers understand what you do, but still hesitate to choose you.
